On June 5, 2025, the AI FOR BUSINESS event, organized by Aeonvis, was held at the impressive location of EXFORO Padua.With a practical and concrete slant, the event told how Artificial Intelligence can transform business operations in sales, purchasing, marketing and customer service.
The initiative was attended by leading companies, vendors, system integrators and sponsors. Aeonvis demonstrated how AI can become a strategic ally for business process optimization through real-world use cases, live demos, and face-to-face discussions with industry experts.
AI applied to business processes: strategies, use cases and live demos
The event program, curated by the Aeonvis team, featured content that proved to be of high interest and technical insights, with a focus on how AI-based solutions can automate repetitive and operational tasks, freeing up time and resources by giving companies the opportunity to be able to focus on higher value-added activities. In addition to automating operations, the use of AI, through conversational agents, helps increase customer service efficiency, enhancing the customer experience and expanding sales opportunities.
Welcoming the audience was Davide De Francesco, Senior Executive Director of Aeonvis and host of the evening, who introduced the event by contextualizing the importance of AI in today’s business landscape. After his introductory remarks, he passed the floor to the speakers who took turns on stage:
- Maurizio V. Esposito (Director Digital CRM & Analytics) presented Aeonvis’ vision of how AI can generate concrete and measurable value in business processes, interacting with the enterprise knowledge base and through direct actions on systems. Maurizio also traced the evolution of AI as a support to the company’s operational procedures, moving from the first chatbots to copilots to conversational agents, while emphasizing the risks associated with new technologies and the need for effective governance to ensure data security and quality, as well as privacy protection. In this context, the consultant plays a key role in translating technology readiness into tangible value, ensuring proper use of solutions and a positive impact on all functions of the organization.
- Benedetto Virzi (Sales Manager South Central) and Federica Taddio (Senior Consultant Salesforce) talked about the potential of Salesforce Agentforce by immersing themselves in Benny Bot‘s business, showing how conversational agents integrated into the platform offer first-rate 24/7 customer service support. Using natural language that adapts to the customer’s tone of voice, agents are able to independently handle a large number of inquiries, improving efficiency and the customer experience.
- Chiara Petrarca (Senior Consultant Marketing Automation) illustrated how to optimize the performance of marketing activities, delving into the use of Artificial Intelligence-particularly Einstein technology-in advanced segmentation and the activation of highly effective data-driven campaigns. The adoption of these automation solutions in marketing opens up the possibility for SMEs to access analytics and automation capabilities previously reserved for large companies as well, with a positive impact on KPIs and operational agility;
- Andrea Martini (SAP Senior Consultant), Soraya Zilio (SAP Logistics Consultant) and Gloria La Placa (SAP Associate Consultant) presented use cases to demonstrate the potential of SAP‘s AI. The Joule Assistant is able to support business users and ICT staff by guiding them in the use of the system and capable of making updates to master and transactional data in SAP.
During the event, guests were able to appreciate how SAP ‘sartificial intelligence can optimize operational decisions, particularly in sales and logistics processes, through its ability to provide real-time insights, proactive suggestions, and leverage “machine-learning” to interpret unstructured data to support human decisions and perform tasks autonomously.

There was also great interest during the final Q&A session, where some of the participants posed pointed questions to our experts, sharing insights and practical thoughts on how to introduce AI solutions in their own business context.
A moment of discussion that highlighted how strong a desire businesses have to understand the real potential of artificial intelligence tools that can be concretely integrated into the operational flows of their organizations.
